Courses are conducted in small group settings, facilitated by experienced Faculty drawn from higher education, counseling, and spiritual care.
We offer:
Costs are reasonable thanks to the generosity of many supporters in our communities of care. Some scholarship funds are available.
I. Seminars:
Self-care and renewal are ongoing processes. Seminars are opportunities to "come away for a while," care for your heart and soul, and reflect on a variety of aspects of your inner life. Each seminar is designed to provide time for presentation, interaction and personal reflection on universal principles and contemporary topics. The seminars are brief in duration and narrow in scope to increase access for busy people, encouraging you to attend one seminar per month or as often as possible. Each seminar experience is uniquely a personal journey, meeting you where you are and inviting further exploration.
Please look at our Course Schedule for more information.

II. Retreats
Setting aside time for your own spiritual care assures that it doesn't get swallowed up by other responsibilities or distractions. Retreats and mini-retreats invite personal reflection around a theme or topic. The format includes personal reflection, sharing and presentation. The retreat rhythm encourages in-depth reflection and connection to your inner life, your heart and soul. The environment and structure of the retreat provide ample choices to do what you need to do to nurture yourself, from a solitary walk to a lively discussion, maybe even a nap.

III. Thriving with Heart & Soul- In-Depth Small Groups:
.
Serving others can be both life-giving and life-draining, blessing and stressing. Whether you are relatively new to your role and seek growth and development, or you are very experienced and seek sustenance and renewal, caring for yourself is critical to serving others. Participating in a Thriving with Heart & Soul in-depth small group can help you learn to thrive rather than just survive in your demanding role. In this small group format, those who serve others from a variety of settings dedicate an extended period of time to explore and tap their unique inner strength while journeying together. Self-understanding, development of inner resources and resiliencies (emotional and spiritual), as well as prevention of compassion fatigue and burnout are key goals. An additional gift of this life-giving process is learning to listen to your own voice while respecting the dignity of others. Groups are scheduled at a variety of times, either monthly or bi-monthly.
Persons registering for a Thriving with Heart & Soul journey group need to both register and complete an application, including a $50 deposit.
